I have a problem with my front passenger side wheel having too much negative camber. All the ball joints are very tight and i just replaced the upper control arm. I am concluding a bent strut may be my problem. Can you see a bent strut? Would they change camber (explanation would be cool)? If i take the strut off and slowly lower the car to stock ride height (still on the jack). Would that be a way to check? Anyone have any pictures of their bent strut? I am getting alot of wheel hop too with a solid front motor mount.

You have a 2G. That means you have a double-wishbone front suspension. That means you don't have struts; you have a shock. That means the state of the shock has nothing to do with the alignment.

TL;DR: no, a bent "strut" can't be why your camber is off

Thank you. I have yet to get any straight answer from anyone. I dont know what to do from here. I thought my only issue could be the strut. I believe it was another Wiseman who told me to check the struts. But i looked at them and i cant figure out how it would affect camber.

I am very confused. Luckily i had my old upper control arm. I decided to put it on. The camber appears to be normal now. Both my upper control arms (the ones that were on there when i got the car) have an adjustment right where the bushings are. The new one i had on there did not have the adjustment. The bolts are so rusted so i am a little confused if they are stock or not. I attatched a pic.

Your old upper arms have a camber kit installed - looks like an Ingalls kit to me.

BTW - there's no such thing as "too much negative camber" in the front of a 2G :)

Did you see the size of his intercooler and the mention of wheel-hop? More likely to be a drag-racer than someone who turns. Add in the wrong-wheel-drive and it is (easily) possible to have too much front camber.

In general, weird camber won't cause wheel-hop, but a blown/ripped suspension bushing can cause both.

Got an alignment done today. My front camber is -1 degrees on both sides. I have the ingal kit, but the bolts are too rusted. I am going to take them off and put new ones on and hopefully get the camber to near zero. I have checked my suspension multiple times on the lift and everything is tight. My tire pressure is also a little high, i am going to drop it down.

Why near zero? Being rusted into a setting of -1* isn't really a bad thing, unless you really wanted -2*.
Is the car drag only maybe?

EDIT: oops, saw that it was already presumed this was a drag car. But then this:

Sorry, I'm unclear, is the car a purpose built drag car?

Sorry for the confusing. Someone presumed this was a drag car. No it is not, it is my daily driver. But i am fwd and best traction will come from camber closest to 0. I am not too worried about cornering abilities to be honest. So i guess you could consider it more of a "straight line" car.
