I talked to the previous owner of my car and the shocks are factory new, but i would like improvement on ride quality and a little drop. Can i replace the stock springs without taking away more life from my current shocks?

I am being offered some H&R racing springs but may go with eibach.

Thanks

You can drop on stock shocks. Just don't go too low, like a 2" drop b/c that will KILL your stock shocks plus give you a crappy ride. You should be fine if you just want a small drop, like less than 1.5".
