Spyder GST - Lowering advice

Hello everybody,

I recently purchased a '99 Spyder GS-T and am looking for honest advice. I would like to lower it- about 1.5 or around that much, no more. I like the ride right now, and do not want to kill it's drivability (I understand lowering will make it stiffer) I'd like it to handle better and look better- I'm not looking for a pavement scraper or a canyon carver.

Do I do springs, shocks, or coilovers?

What specific springs, shocks, or coilovers (brands)?

I am looking for owners of GS-T Spyders advice: what works, what doesn't, what's good, what's bad

get springs and shocks...eibach pro-kit will drop your ride about 1.5" and i heard tokiko shocks were good

Thanks for the advice, Megaman. I have already purchased a Tokico Suspension kit with Illumina adjustable shocks. I like the fact the set is matched, instead of one person's springs and someone else's shocks.

BTW, how do you like your Big T28? I'm thinking of going that route too...

You will like your purchase, I got the same ones a month ago and so far everything is working great.

What do you think of the Tokiko Setup- How does it ride on normal roads? Any problems with sagging?

Tokico Springs and Shocks here on 18 inch rims and tires. It works fine, I need to roll the fender, ever since I got my camber fixed I'm rubbing a little on sharp turns.

....r u rubbin in the front and the rear, and how much is your camber off by in the front since im assuming you dont have the front camber kit

I haven't notice any sagging at all but again, I've only had it for about a month now. As for the pictures, I haven't had the time cause my bro hasn't given me my digi cam yet. But for sure this weekend I will put pictures up for you guys. I swear there will be pics up either early Sat or by Sunday.

looks good man, what size rims are those? I just ordered me some eibach prokits, cant wait to slap them on my spyder!!!
