Hey, I have Tokico Adjutsible shocks and 450/275 ground control on my 99 GSX. THe car is friggin low. With the car adjusted all the way up, my car has 1.2 inches of clearance from the fender to the tire.

Also, the left front is adjusted all the way up, the right is only 75% up(about 1 inch from the top)

I need at least 2 iches of fender gap. The problem is much worse because of my Blitz kit, I can not make it up many driveways.

A lot goes into how low you are sitting. Here are some key things to check/think about:

1. Have you replaced your suspension bushings?
2. Camber kit installed? (you can unlock anywhere from .25-.75 of clearance with one.)
3. What size wheels/tires? 1.2" on 18"s with 35 tires is a lot different than 1.2" on 17"s with 45 series tires)
4. how stiff does the suspension feel? with that set-up it should be rock solid.

Lets start there and see what we get.

THe suspension is on lvl1(softest setting). It seems pretty soft compared to my 3000GT. I am thinking about putting it up to 2.

My tires are stock 215/50/17(I think)

I always thought I needed a rear camber kitmy fronts look fine. How will it affect my ride height?

No on the suspension bushing, but the car only has 50K miles

The setting most people use is a 3 or 4. From a 1 to a 4 you are talking about a 1/4"

Camber can affect your ride height if it is grossly mis adjusted, IE 2" drop on a civi and the wheels look like this:

Check your bushings anyway. Most people don't realize that many OEM Shocks and Bushings only are rated for 36,000 miles.

Check all of that out and you should find a problem somewhere.
