Ok I recently got a 1990 Laser N/T FWD. I am planning on upgrading all of the suspension parts..
Here is what I have planned, Also will parts for a Turbo car work on a N/T version???
RRE Front lower stress bar
suspension techniques sway bars(front and rear)
Energy suspension Urethane bushing kit
Extreme tech. polished front strut tower bar
Extreme tech. polished rear strut tower bar
Intrax Progressively wound lowering spring(1.75")
Front camber kit
Koni high performance shocks- front
koni high performance shocks- rear

Anyone have any comments about this setup??? Please let me know your opinions and whether or not I should change something on the list
any help is greatly appreciated
Thanks

the RRE bar is awsome the sway bars are good strut towers sound nice good shox will help, bushing kit would be very very nice just hard install I dunno about the springs I would personally go with a coil over set up like the DSS if its for a first gen, then you wont need to worry about the shox. also I dont know if they make a rear lower brace for the car but if they do then hop all over that cause that helps to..... I think thats every thing. all in all your car will turn quite flat :D

Sweet thanks Talon614. I was debaiting the Coil overs but I wasnt too sure which ones to get and they are all pretty damn expensive that I have seen... Im now on the search for a rear lover brace!!!! LOL if I cant find one I will Fab one up and see how it helps..
Thanks for your opinion

I don't think that you'll need the front sway bar, because it will just increase the understeer that the rear bar is trying to get rid of. Koni yellows are a good idea, but the only problem is that to adjust the rear ones, you have to take the shock back out. This is why people mix and match and put koni's up front and KYB AGXs out back. I think that's the shock setup i'm going to eventually use. Try to keep the koni's up front though because they have a shorter shock body(which is needed if you're lowering your car 1.7")

Intrax springs lower the car too far. Do a quick google search:
machpersion struts, lowering, and E30 M3
You'll find out why lowering a 1G very far can be bad.

Oh and BTW I had intrax springs on my AWD back in 99-01, they were terrible. Well I guess the car looked cool, but that's it.

doesn't he have the solid rear axle........ id so i didn't even think u needed to do anything w/ the rear cause there's no wya its moving i think the sway bar would do nothing if u could even get it to fit...... and the rear lower stress bar would be worthless too........ just trying to save u some money but i'm pretty sure w/ the solid rear u need nothing like that. well prove me wrong guys lata
