i took my car to the shop today and they told me that the outer bushings on the upper A-arms are worn and need replaced on both sides, i called all my local part shops and nobody carried it except the dealer here in town. they are tellin me $370.00 for the pair of them... that seemed kinda high and was wondering if anyone knew any websites or anything that they could throw my way that would help me out, thanks alot everyone, your great

is there a number or something i can call to get ahold of them? website i can email them at or a fax even, gimme what ya got :thumb:
thanks

well, i finally figured out what it was. if you look under one of your rear tires, directly above it is an arm that has some rubber looking pads on each side of it (the bushings i need) well, the pads were totally worn off on my car and that is what was causing the wobble. the parts that i needed was going to cost me 340.00 for both plus labor:mad: anyways, we temp fixed it with some big washers that seem so far to be doing the trick, i dropped an email to energysuspension and hope to hear back from them with good news that i CAN buy just the bushings:D but for now it seems to be working alright. working fine for being 400.00 cheaper than the alternative anyways. thanks for the link man :thumb: hopefully it'll pay off

That's crazy talk you can get a whole ES kit for $160-$180 depending on your shopping ability. Putting them in isn't fun from what I've seen but I will be doing my entire car soon so I guess I'll know first hand then eh? Do you have any pics of this washer thing you did as I think the same bushings on my car are completely torn to ish.

i dont have any pics, i lost the cord that runs from my digi camera to my puter  but, they are about 1/4 inch thick and probably 2-2.5 inches in diameter, he put 2 of them on each side of the A-arm and it has stopped wobbling and everything, i'm assuming that any sort of "restraint" would work. he told me that alls the bushings were for was to keep that arm in place because when it moved, the tires temporarily go out of balance and that is what caused the wobble. but any kind of insert that fits in there would work, he was going to get some nylon inserts, but i needed my car that night, so he fixed it this way for me. hope i explained well for ya:thumb:
