upgrading tires from 215-35 series

I have 18" wheels & 215/35/18 parada spec 2 tires. I love the grip, but the problem is ive bent 2 wheels already. This spring im gonna look into an upgrade. what series tire would you recommend, i was thinking a 225/45, but im not too sure. i need some input on this. also, are there any other tires you guys have had nothing but great wear and all around great performance with? thanks

215/35 is too small in rolling dia. for our cars...Get the 225/40 instead
