drop on 18's

i am thinking bout gettin 18's and gettin the sportlines to lower my car. i was wonderin if it would prob be lower than how i am now, stock springs and stock 16" rims. i dont really want to be lower than i am now, i want to stay about the same height.

If you get 18's with 225x40's and you put Sportlines on you will be lower. The 18's with those tires will have about the same outside circumference as the stock wheel/tire combo. There won't be any height added byt he 18's wheel and tire combo. I have RS*R springs(from what I've seen the RS*R's are about 1/4 to half an inch higher than Sportlines) on mine and although not as low as the Sportlines I do have to be careful when going over speedbumps and entering driveways.
