I am going through wheel bearings like they're going out of style. I am on my 3rd bearing on the front passenger side in the last 250 miles. Has anyone experienced this problem? I have changed the other wheel bearings on the car no problem, so it's not being done incorrectly. I am thinking the spindle/hub where the bearing sits it out of round, but just a guess.

If anyone has any ideas, theories, or experiences, I would love to hear. Thanks in advance guys.

This is a '92 6/4 5 speed.

No, I haven't had it aligned professionally yet, but I have eyeballed it really good and it drives very straight. I wasn't going to drop the money on a perfect alignment until I had all the issues sorted.

Another thing I forgot to mention, when the bearing is new pressed in with new seals and everything is assembled, before the wheel is even set on the ground I can rock the wheel back and forth a tad like it has a bad bearing. The bearing will last about 100 miles before driving the car gets nearly dangerous. When removing it, the axle has the bearing grease on it and the bearing is completly shot.

I have sourced a new spindle, so I'll give it a try. Otherwise, I'm stumped.
