Struts Backwards?

I had factory struts and springs put back on my car, and now my rear end feels like its on a trampoline. Could this be from having the struts from the front, installed on the rear, and the rear's on the fronts? Ive looked around online, and have not been able to find a model number for the struts.

maybe the springs are on backwards? The struts couldn't be installed backwards.

The shocks cannot be installed backwards, they are completely different. If the rear end is jumping, your shocks are probably completely blown. Look under and see if you can see oil dripping from the shocks.

Blown struts that are brand new? Im gonna stop up at the shop tomorrow and have him check it out and see what he says/thinks. Ordered this shit from Washington State since it was the cheapest, Ill be pissed if they are messed up.

If the struts can't be installed backwards or on the wrong set, like front or back, why is there a price difference?

The front springs are stiffer than the rears. If they installed them backwards, the rear would bounce since the rear struts are too soft to handle the stiffer rate of the front springs. But, the front should also have problems since the rear springs are not designed to handle all that weight on the front end. If your front end doesn't have problems, you could have 2 sets of front factory springs. Since the struts are physically different at the mounting points, it's impossible to have them wrong.
