What would cause rear wheel vibration?

would this cause a vibration in the rear. I have a vibration in the rear passenger side at around 20 mph and 10 buto only under certain circumstances.

Likely causes are unbalanced / out of round wheel or bearings.

This post was uinder a different thread so sorry that it doesn't seem like a real question. The rear tow adjust has froze on my car and it's a little out of alignment with that known and under the circumstances stated earlier would that cause vibration?

It's not likely that misaligned toe could cause vibration unless it is so severe that the tire wear is uneven circumferentially, which goes back to wheel balance and out of round.

Agreed. Excessive toe causes feathering of the tire, which doesn't lead to vibration. Tire-induced vibration usually comes from cupping, which is caused by loose parts, including bad wheel bearings, ripped bushings, etc.

Well the vibration seemed like it was coming from the rear passenger wheel but it was actually coming from right in the middle. My u-joints were going bad on the car. I was getting a very bad vibration under wot and going up hills. Also when I would put the car in reverse I would hear a squeking noise like a feeler on the brake pad hitting the rotor. Only happened in reverse and I replaced all the brake pads with no luck.

To fix the problem I replaced all the u-joints. After getting them out I realized how much they really needed to be replaced. One was rusted on the inside so all the bearing just fell out when we removed the cap. I was extremely happy when I realized that these were causing both of those problems. It also only cost me 51 dollars. I don't think I could have spent my money any better on the car repair wise. It took care of two problems that would emberass the hell out of me when I would take people for rides.
