Ok my roomate just bought some Koni Yellows the other day he also has the Maxspeed coilovers to go w/ them .. we attempted to drop his car the other day and we couldnt.. well sorta cause the front droped, for the front we took off the perch, but for the back when we remove the perch the coilover slides all the way down .. so we were forced to leave the pearch on the rear.. thus causing the rear not to drop.

Has any one ever ran into this problem cause this is really getting him man.. this is the second time it has happend to him.

thanks for your help in advance!

I've seen lots of gs-ts lowered and one spyder.. thats really strange.. i wish i could help, but every time i've seen it done, it came out really good.. maybe you got the wrong one by accident..

or maybe they are in upside down or something...

i had the same issue what i did was use the gold looking rings that it came with and place them until the notches on the sturt caught them then put a o ring on top of that then jb weld the gold ring to the strut.then i placed another oring below the gold ring(i would place that one first then the gold ring then another oring on top.) oh yeah there is two different ones i used both on top of each other you will see what i mean when you look at it looks like a two piece washer. (make sure you sand the area you are going to jb welding) i hope that helps

So what your saying is that you are relying on JB Weld to support the collars and springs, which support the weight of the car........... OMG I'm hoping I read something wrong................................ Can you say UN-SAFE..........

i will explain a little better the gold ring fits on there tight enough so it doesn't move down but if you look at the rear shock it has those grooves and when you put the ring on it has a little space inbetween there so basicllay i put jb weld in betwen there, you don't have to do it but i would recommend doing it. make any sense.
