Hi to everybody.

I have done the big brakes Upgrade on my 1g 91 dsm:dsm: .

I used 3000Gt large front callipers, 3000 GT front disk (by tarox - an italian race disc) and race brake pads"ferodo racing" (italian race brake pads), Goodridge brake lines (notice with 8 lines).

This is the results:

Increased brake power, and a better control of brake.

This is only a suggestion if somebody in europe want to make it. Same parts for european cars are different (specially into light system), but brake upgrade works!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Many many many thanks to everybody!!!!

Glad you enjoy 'em. :thumb: I did mine for less than $200 and it is one of the best things you can do for your car.

Are these better than the AWD 2 piston brakes? And what year and model exactly do these come off? I ask b/c I work at napa and can get them cheap.

:rocks: I am very interested in this as well. Please specifiy year and model of the brackets, calipers, and rotors. Also, if there is a difference for the 1G and the 2G (for project tsi and myself).

their the same ones.GVR4's,3000gt sl,92-96 diamantes, and 93-99 awd dsms are all the cars available with the 2 piston calipers.Even though some share a different part number,if you got them in stock, pull the parts and check them out for yourself.check out the wagner brake parts book, part numbers are in there. We got it at work and my boss buys everything from NAPA.

Except for some of the 95s, with the funky banjo line fittings, instead of the regular screw-ins.
