Rear Strut Tower Bar

Once again. I am gonna post this ? because last week when i posted it, no one gave me an answer. Does any one know if i can slap on a rear strut tower bar and still have room in the back to lower the convertable top w/out any trouble?.

i dont think that the top will clear the STB. most of the bars i have seen say "NOT FOR SPYDERS" all over them. i havent really researched it but thats what i have seen in looking for one for my car
