Unfortunately, I'll sound like a newbie

ok I don't want coilovers cause I don't plan on trying to adjust the ride height, i'm planning on getting arospeed springs and koni yellows. Can you guys tell me about this thing you call camber and since I won't be doing any of the work cause I'm mechanic illiterate, I wanted to know if any regular mechanic can put that stuff on and adjust it to my specs? Also, should I even get anti sway bars, I only plan on getting an intake, exhaust header and udp, so my car will not be fast. Thanks for the help.

First off, upgrading your suspension isn't dependant on whether or not your car is fast. I'd typically suggest that everyone do their suspension first, but few do. I'd get swaybars regardless of how fast the car is.

Now, if you lower your car more than 1.5-2 inches, you'll need camber adjustment hardware because your wheels will be too far out of alignment for the stock adjustments to compensate for. Have you ever seen cars that have been slammed to the ground and the wheels are sitting at an angle? That's camber. Any place that can do an alignment job for you should be able to help. Just be sure you know how low your springs will drop the car to find out for sure if you need to spend the extra couple hundred $$ on camber adjustment hardware.

Since I'm a driver on a budget, I should most likely get springs that only drop 2 inches, get the shocks, and the swaybars? I planned on doing the suspension first, so would those 3 things be sufficient or is there anything else I should know? I am kind of a newbie, but I'm learning.

so people who have coilovers that dropped their cars more than 2 inches should have a camber kit??

Yes. I droped mine like 3 or 3.5 inches and my front camber is off by 2 degrees.

Speaking of that does anyone know how hard it is to install a front camber kit?

i am gonna buy an anti sway bar kit, front and rear from summit racing.com, and i was wondering if it is somehting i can do myself, or if I will need a shop to do it. is there usually any fabricating, or is it just bolt on?

Swaybars bolt right in, but the hard part is getting them into place. You can do it, just throw lots of curse words at the bars and eventually you'll get them right.

Springs also mess upi tour camber if it drops below 1.5 or 2 inches. When I put my H&R springs on my camber was affected.
