I was trying to show off leaving for work, and was doing some fish tails in the parking lot, cause it was snowing all day. Well on one of the fish tails I slammed my rear driver side tire into a curb. My rim is all deformed but somehow is still holding air. I was wondering if there would be anything else I could have possibly damaged?

She does not pull to either side, while accelerating, cruising, or braking. So thats good. Just feel vibration around 15mph, goes away, and comes back at 60+mph. I already have rims and tires for the car, but didn't want to put them on til spring... :sosad:

I dont know how bad the wheel is damaged, but I wouldnt drive on it at 60 mph. The integrity of the self sealing property where the tire contacts the rim could be in question. Bring it to a shop or post pictures so you dont cause any more damage, or an accident.

When I bent my front rim on a curb, I really didn't know much about suspension so I just had AAA tow it to a repair shop, had them tell me all the part names I needed, told them I was broke, AAA towed to my house, then went to the junkyard got the parts and did it myself. I messed up the control arm, rim, popped the tire, and cracked the axle in 2. Got all my tools for Autozone for free for a day and did everything in about 5 hours for a first timer.

For the rim, I cut the tire off using a sharp knife, and a dremel to get through the metal rings, then bondoed the rim all over, then shaped it back into the shape of the rim with a dremel sanding disk. A little paint and you can barely tell. 6 months later and about 12000 miles and the rim has given me no problems yet.

Sorry guys about the link, didn't know what I was trying to link up LOL. Here is the pic link:

Im probably going to jack it up today, and do a visual. I have another set of rims, that fit these tires. I'm' thinking I'm still able to get the tire off...

it dosent look too bad. just get that wheel balanced since that wheel is still salvageable, check all your suspension components(i.e. bushings), alignment, and wheel bearing. good luck
