I'm having some problems hooking everything back on my "Upper Control Arm". I believe thats what it's called.

Everytime I try and tighten a nut on to that it just spins.I've even used vice grips to hold it still. That just feels wrong. Also I could be using the wrong nut but I don't believe I am. Does anyone know the thread size etc. Thanks Could use the help.

push the control arm down while tightening the nut. Make sure the tapered part of the ball joint is in the knuckle first before tightening the nut

I have it just sits there and spins the bolt. I am going to take one of the bolts of my spare shell and see if they match up to what I am trying to put on there.

Get a 2x4 or some other piece of wood. Stick it in the wheel well on top of and across the control arm right where the ball joint is. Get another block of wood, place it on your jack. Roll your jack under your lower control arm ball joints. Jack the suspension up and compress it against the 2x4. Then spin the nut on.
