same coilovers for awd and fwd (1g)

Iam on hunt for coilovers for my eclipse 1g fwd , I talked to martin at thespeedfactor and he told me that the coilovers are the same for 1g fwd and awd is this true i havent heard it before.

He must of worded it wrong or you misheard him. The front coilovers are the same on both, the rears are very different to my understanding.
 
It depends on if you're talking about springs and shocks, or just springs. Coilover spring kits can be swapped between FWD and AWD, but the rear shock is different between the two cars and can't be swapped.
 
I was talking about the tein ss coilovers listed on his site, There was no misunderstanding because i asked several times if this really was correct.
I guess he dosent know what he is talking about then .Things like this really pisses me off because i told him that i am from sweden and the last thing I want is something that dosent fit my car becase shipping and customs makes the price so mutch higher .
