Radial Owners Only Respond!

ok lookin for a decent set of radials for my gst. tired of not hooking with these kuhmo 712's im running. in the market for a set of radials but looking for a little input first. so tell me?
1: i know treadlife is not the greatest obviously, but looking for something reasonable, any of you burn thru a set in 8-10k miles without excessive abuse on them?
2: ever been caught out in the rain? how'd they do? i live in psl, fl. where a sunny day will turn to a rainy one in 20mins, so better to be prepared, the stickiness is not gonna help me hydroplaning down the road.
3:any of you guys track ## car before and after the tires with the same power level? if so what improvement was made?

The best drag radials I have used are the BFG G Force Comp TA's. Definitely the best if you are running 17's. They are 225/45/17. I have a set of 6 Centerline RPMs. The rims are only 13 pounds a piece and made a huge difference. That is when I had a FWD. Now I have a AWD. I sold my set of Centerline 17's and still have my two with the drag radials. It's the best to run 6 wheels so that when you go to the track you just throw them on as with street driving they really will not last that long.
