how fast do you take corners?

Let's say you are on a ramp. how fast your car can handle it? mine can only handle up to 45mph or else my tires starts to sing.

a ramp? I take 90 degree right handers into the first available lane at around 40, and I usually speed up for left hand turns since they are wider.

I'm talking about ramp. roadway connecting different levels or a concave bend of a handrail where a sharp change in level. sorry to be an A - - . maybe mis pronounced it.

Most corners have a yellow sign indicating safe speed. I usually can double that. Usually...

Remember, a singing tire is a happy tire.

This is gonna be hard to answer........ Temperature, road surface, road condition, grade, the color of your shirt , etc, etc, is all gonna make for different situations.

Dont let singing tires intimidate you. When I was racing at Thunder Hill my tires never stopped singing to me. You can push it harder. You know you have reached the limit of your car when you drift the ramp, like me

There's like a 100 degree turn near where I live (side street), it wraps around quite a ways. I almost drift through it doing around 65, and accelerate hard in 3rd gear out of it, no problem. And this is on random pos tires and stock rims

With my 1G 1.8L with stock everything, most on-ramps used to be 35ish, now with my 2G I can pull about 55-60 most of the time, if not a wee bit faster. (Still stock everything)

But like ILLMINDED said, it pretty much depends on everything else as well-especially the type of turn. There are quite a few hard corners around here, which seem easier to cut if I'm going faster than if I ease slowly into them. *shrugs*

I go double the suggested speed also...sometimes I go a little faster, about 10mph on a good dry day. If it says 20, I go 50, 30 I go around 70. I have pro-kits on gabs with 215/45/17 tires, pretty bald...AWD is amazing.

well even with my crappy ass tires I can do more than double the suggested speed limit without my tires singing. I could go faster but I have these crappy ass RS seats and I am flung around the car

hehe, thanks for the compliments and its not really that low, the back of the car is jacked up because we also did a rear brake conversion and added the rear GS swaybar that day. The car is lowered on nuespeed sport springs with illuminas and the rims and tires are OEM 97+ GSX equipment

yeah you do, there is a catch though, you have to earn atleast 25 bucks either in 2wks or a month in order to get any money. The good thing is the more people that sign up under you the more money you make. I havent been subscribed to it long enough to get any money, but I currently have 2 people signed up under me. Its basically a pyramid scheme, but it doesnt hurt to try right?

at least twice the posted limit...or more, it also depends if there are highway patrols there, thats only happened once...luckily he just smiled at me. im in a 1.8l with agxs and sportlines on 205/40/17's and i have a 26mm rear sway bar and a cheap STB.

Also, to consider...if your tires "sing" easily, you might wanna check how worn they are.

my tires are ok. even though i'm just using stock tires. I have a set of nitto 555 extreme sitting in my garage. the only reason i'm not using it is because, my front tires are bald. so I need to get a new tires plus a camber kit. and I have an update on my speed cornering. I push it up to 50 mph without the tires singing. this is on 30 mph speed limit.

I hear that. Except 15mph turns... they have a way of sneaking up on you if you try them at 30. Anything else, np... you haven't lived till you've made a 55mph radar scanner HP box on a highway read 05
