Tokico Illumina Suspension Kit picture request

Thanks for the pic. That's pretty low compared to my stock suspension and 17" wheels though. I think I'm better off getting some sort of coil overs for now?

Koni is not much more and is worth the price. I've ran both Illumina and Koni sport on a 2G.

I thought Tokico only made shocks? I don't see anything on their site about lowering springs for our cars...?

Koni alone is about $600. Tokico kit is $550.

koni is definitely worth the money though. I had konis and prokits on my old gs...the ride was amazing compared to other strut/spring combos I had tried. If I could've spent the money on konis when I needed a new setup for my gst...I definitely would've gone that route instead.

As far as Tokico springs go, I believe every Japanese spring DG looked at was proclaimed as poop. Search his posts for more detail.
You can find Hypercoil on-line for $200 and they're the best on the planet.
So, for under $800 you can buy once and be done with it.
I have ran AGX, Illumina and Koni: spare yourself the fustration and get the Konis from the start.

I convinced myself just to wait and get Koni. Truchoice makes a nice kit and you can order it with helper springs. I'll call them up soon to get more info from them.

If you have access to a lathe, it is really simple to cut a snap-ring groove lower on the shock to allow the use of sleeves. This is what True Choice does and what ATI did as well.
The 42mm coil-over sleeves fit directly over the Koni sport and, again are the same as what True Choice and ATI use. There is a nylon spacer included that allows for the use of 2.5" springs.

I don't have access to lathe and to be honest I'd rather buy something that's ready to install.

I've got their illumina adjustable shocks and springs. Photos are in my gallery, have had them on fopr 2 summers and they work amazing, lots of adjustability and the perfect ride height IMO, I would recommend them to anyone
