Ok guys, I finished the install but for some reason that bolt doesnt line up to the fork. Im confused as hell. The fork sits lower than that bolt no matter how I move that bolt. That bolt is connected to the frame/ball joint. I've done this install many times but never ran into this problem. Below is a picture. btw, i was installing the illuminas on h&r oe sport springs if that matters. Thanks.

I had a similar problem when installing my eibachs and kyb's. I just forced the sway bar to the direction i needed it to go and it fit right in. But if it gives you too much resistance, don't force it that much. ...recheck everything

That's the front endlink. It has a pivoting ball joint, just pivot the endlink as close as possible, and pop it in. If necessary, grab the bottom where the control arms connect and move the suspension around to help pop it in.

Probably a good idea to keep things loose (don't tighten any nuts or bolts) until you have the fork mated with the endlink.

Let's take this a step further.

You should loosen (but not remove) the brackets that hold the swaybar to the chassis. Then attach both ends to the forks. Then, with the wheels off, set the front of the car down with the knuckles on two objects that are the same height. Do all of this with the front wheels off. Then reach in and tighten the brackets.

This is all a lot easier on a wheel lift, but I'm assuming you don't have one.

The idea is to remove any preload from the swaybar. After wasting my time and money on an adjustable endlink, I found that there's enough slop in the brackets to remove the preload. The same is true in the rear.

I will give all the above comments a try. Will let you guys know how it turns out. Thanks!

finished the install a few days ago, what I did was just put a floor jack to where the control arm and fork meets at the bottom, put a block of wood on the jack, jacked it up slowly making sure I wasnt hitting the rotors and when it got high enough to where the bolt lined up with the fork, it slid ride in no problem. Thanks for all the replies guys.
