i was wondering if anyone has heard nething about the jic coilover setup on a dsm.like how they ride, how is the handling and so forth.i was also wondering what would be the best setup for the 1g non turbo talon.
thanx guys

Well, DSM wise I've had no experience. But Im sure theyre not much different than the ride on a Honda. My friend has em on his '99 GSR, SWEET RIDE :thumb: He's got it set so it rides just like stock (his car is extremely dumped). Its funny, he can adjust em so soft, that it feels like your riding in a Cadillac (or some kinda over sized G-ride), or so stiff, that if he hits a small speed bump, the whole car shutters. I think its safe to say, the JIC Pro-coil overs can prolly safice the needs of anyones tastes as far as the suspension is concerned. I plan on gettin' em' myself :p

now another quick ques, does the 1g 90 talon have a d22a chassis. i found them for a d22a ff chassis from 89-94 eclipse.will it bolt on a talon

Well I personally have no experience with them. Some people on here have told me that they are very stiff and will give you a pretty harsh ride. They were referring to the JIC FLT-A2's and some of there cheaper ones are probably softer than the A2's.

It's not "weird codes" you just need to understand how the automotive industry in Japan works. Quick rundown...In Japan, you don't buy a Honda Civic, you buy a Honda EK3 (or whatever the latest version is). Or a Nissan R34 (I hope we all know what that is). If you ask someone with a Silvia what kind of car it is, he'll tell you is an S14. They don't give a squat what the name is, they care what the chassis is. They do so many engine swaps that you can't tell by the name what ANY car over there can do. But the chassis code will, because that is the basic limiter of that combos will work. So now that we have this down, keep in mind that JIC-Magic is a VERY Japanese company. They only started selling worldwide in a consumer market a few years ago. So to them, everything revolved around a chassis code. Hope this helps you some.

i get what your sayin.so is that chassis the same as mine(im assuming so).i really wanna run this setup with ats dtm 18"competition wheels.i want really stiff suspension.and yes the r34 is pretty much god.
