17x7 on 1g Best Tire Size/Brand

hey guys and gals. i searched the forums and didn't really get an answer to my question. i recentely purchased a set of 17x7 motegi rims for my 91 AWD Eclipse. stock suspension (stock height) ect. i was wondering what the best tire size/brand would be for my set up. thanks for the help.

Some of that is opinion of the driver, the other part is use:

What do you want this tire for, daily driving, drag, autocross?

How much are you willing to spend, how often can you replace the tires?

I have Sumitomo HTR+ 215/45/R17 and love the handling for all seasons including snow, plus there cheap!

I have 17x7 enkeis. I originally had 235/45/17 road hugger. Now I have 225/45/17 sumitumos. Overall I like the 225s better but the 235s had more grip and handled better. I chose the 225 mainly because they dont stick out the fender like the 235s.
