I'm looking to get some lowering springs for my 98Spyder GS-T. I looked for the Eibach PRo-kit springs and seemed that they don't make them for my car. Is this true? Shouldn't all springs that fit on 95-99 Turbo FWD fit Spyders as well? If they really don't make them for my car, wat other springs WILL fit? Im looking for atleast a 1.5 inch drop. Thanks in advance

A 2g GSX weighs about 100 pounds more than a GST Spyder, which weighs about 150 more than a GST. The springs fit the same. Most Spyder owners going that route choose the GSX springs, preferring to be slightly over than slightly under. Pro-kit springs advertise a 1.2 inch drop.

I have had the tein s-techs on my 98 gst spyder for about a year. They are paired up with Tokico hps. the ride can be bumpy at times (Expected), but overall they are nice springs. The drop was about 1.4" giving it a nice stance with the stock 16" rims. They are garunteed not to sag less then an inch (I believe). witch is an importent factor when deciding on springs. Otherwise you will lose any performance value and have to replace them again. The one thing I did not due was go with the gsx springs, I went with the standerd gst. Like you, I could find nothing specific to the spyder, and I hadnt thought about the gsx. It does make sense, so if/when you buy them, you should probably go with the gsx....Hope this helps.

was wondering tho.. how low can we actually go before a camber kit is needed?? i wanna ride low.. but not too low to the point where im going to need a camber kit... would the h&r sports for AWD application need camber kit. I believe it lowers the car 1.7 in front and 1.4 in the rear. Thanks in advance fellas!
