After installing 17 inch wheels with a 45 series tire the car is a 4x4. I really want to lower it but do not want a horrible ride or deal with a camber kit.

Is there a decent set of springs that match well to kyb gr-2's? If not what could you recommend as far as cheap lowering and decent handling for a 1g?

I have goldline springs and KYB gr2's up front and KYB agx's in the rear. I can adjust them to a firm setting in the rear when I go to the track. I like my setup cost me 210$ for the shocks and 80-100$ for the springs. Just make sure to replace the bump stops or ur setup will ride like ass.

If you're looking for better ride quality and don't mind not much of a drop, I would go with the H&R springs. The drop is right around 1", maybe slightly more, but the springs are the best quality wise in terms of direct fit lowering springs from what I have heard.

Totally agreed,
H&R springs and GR2 shocks thats the best on a budget setup.

Anyone able to confirm this? I know very little about spring rates and part matching for suspension set ups.
