1g 17" wheel question

1991 talon AWD.

ok, i've got a set of 17x7 lenso VPD wheels that im going to be putting on this summer. the offset is 38, and i will be installing HnR sport springs and AGX's/camber kits at the same time.

is a 235/45/17 wheel going to fit alright? i would rather have a 235 over 225, but if it wont work, then ill have to settle.

235 is a little wide for 17x7" rims, but people have done it. Personally I'd not run anything higher than 215 on a 7" wide rim - at 235/45 your sidewall height will be a little higher than normal, and so the car will be raised a little bit and your speedometer will be off. You may potentially have rubbing issues as well, as a result. 225/45 is identical to stock diameter, so it's really the most ideal, with a 7.5" rim - but you should be able to use it on a 7" rim just fine.
