Hello,
Lat night I took a ride in Peter Reilly's rally car (1g). I met with him in order to gather more info on the GB and to have a look at the units themselves.
He had the Rally setup on his car, which gives the car additional clearance than stock, but It is lowerable back to stock height.
Soon after I got to his shop he lowered the car, (He intends on racing the car at a local road course on the weekend), and then he took me for a spin around the block. I'm surprised at how fast he took the car on turns considering he only had what semmed to be all-season tires. I felt the car to have very minimal body roll during turns at "stock ride height". The car felt very smooth overall, I didn't feel uncorfortable at all in his gutted rally car.
I wish I have a chance to take the car for a spin myself, or at least a longer ride.
I did put a deposit down on a street/race setup for my car, and I'm eager to have them installed. He says that they should be at his shop in about a period of 8 weeks.
I'll be the first to admit that I'm no suspension guru. I'm confident on this suspension setup since I don't believe that I"ll ever have any issues as far as reliabilty go,
based on Peter's rally experience. (and after having a look at how stout his units are assembled).
Regards,
Cesar
