rear wont drop, help plz!

k, got a venge, i4, same platform as eclipse 2g,, with tokico blues and maxspeed coilovers, if i put the spring to drop the full 4 in, the whoe rear of the car will jus sit on the metal rod that comes outa the strut, i cant seem to drop more than an 1.5 in with thte rear, what do i do, please help, do i need a diff strut or what, this is jus a fwd car, the fronts fine i suppose, but my dam car is raked forward pretty good, sum 1 plz help me drop the rear heres pix:

Ok, this is going to seem like a real stupid question, but then again, I've seen stupider..

Are you sure that you have the correct springs installed in each end of the car? (i.e, front springs in the rear and vice-versa..)

I've seen it done before in the past. The reason that I ask is this.... First off, Maxspeed coilovers are junk.. second, when you get them, they are not labled correctly as to posistion.. The fronts and rears look identical, however have differing spring rates and could very easil be installed wrong.
A few months ago, a customer came to the shop that I was working at, and his car had pretty much the same rake that you show in your picture.. Turns out that he had installed the rear springs in the front and the fronts in the rear..

Take a look and see if this is the problem. just a bit of advise. good luck.

You're supposed to cut the spring perch off..... Inside the collar is a little lip that rests on what's left of it after you remove it.
