Does anyone have any input on the Tanabe pro S-S coilovers as compaired to the B+G coilovers? I have decided that it will be one of the two... but the B+G's are $300 more... I am wondering they are worth the extra $300 over the Tanabes any and ALL input is welcome... thanks a lot...:dsm:

Hey, go over to www.dsmtalk.com b/c there's a big thread on B+G coilovers and someone there can get em cheap for you. Also, if you wanna spend a bit more, JIC makes some bad ass coilovers, the FLT-A2 I believe. Way better than Tein or Tanabe. I think the B+G's were like $1100 or so and JIC's $1700.

I just went to Shox.com... the B+G's were $1800 there... where did you hear that they were $999??

That was the quote they sent me via email. Request a quote from them. $1800.00 is MSRP. I have seen JIC's for 1425.00 from digitalracer I believe.

Ok, well, shox.com isn't the end all to suspension deals. Go to the link I posted, read the info, and then use that info to make a decision. Sometimes you gotta search the deep crevices of the internet to find the best prices....

thanx bro... I have a lot of info on the B+G's now... has ANYONE heard ANYTHING about the Tanabe Pro S-S??

I would'nt put a whole lot of faith into the information/pricing about applications from digitalracer.com . They give prices for Intrax and Progress coilovers and the companies dont even make them for AWD. How could they offer pricing??? And the price for the JIC's that you are reffering to are'nt the FLT-A2's.

Well I have never dealt with digitalracer.com but I just checked Intrax and Progress's web sites and they both say they do make them for the AWD. I checked JIC's web site and they don't have the 2g AWD listed in there applications for the FLT-A2's. From what I was told the 2g coilovers will fit AWD and FWD I'm not sure on this, it's just what I was told from a source on here what ever thats worth.

If you call Progress and Intrax they will both tell you that they do not have an application available for AWD. As for JIC ...... http://www.jic-magic.com/suspension/sus_list.asp?type=4 Here you go. Not sure where you looked  FWD coilovers will fit in AWD applications but the spring rates are usually a little different. If you can get an application for FWD with high enough spring rates and you have the knowledge and ability to set the suspension up properly you will be fine.

Did you look at the link you posted:confused: There is no 2g AWD listed.
http://www.progressauto.com/
http://www.intraxsuspension.com/veh...995&make=MITSUBISHI&model=ECLIPSE&subcat_id=2

If you look at both of those web sites they list a AWD application.

Yeah I did post the wrong link. I have to try and track it down now. If you call both Progress and Intrax they will tell you that the application is'nt available yet with no estimated time as to when it maybe. They have it listed but no actual finished product. H&R was the same way. They recently changed there listing to not show an application available.

I think I'll go with the JIC-FLTA2s instead... where is the hot deal on those?
