What are the widest tires i can fit on my rim without rubbing anything?

on 16 inch 1995 swirlies. I have a 2 inch drop. What is the max tire size that can be fit on my rim?

Your stock tires are already too wide for those thin 6" stock rims. So you probaly shouldn't unless you upgrade rims.

not really what i wanted to hear... i can't fit any 225/50/16's on there?

Save yourself up some cash and get some 16x7s or better - 16" rims are much cheaper than 17s, and you'll be set for 225s.
