ok, my friend has his eclipse here...we took the caliper off the rotor and the caliper has closed up too much to put back on the rotor....how do we open the caliper enough to put it back on? thanks!

A C-clamp, big vise grips or large pliers will work. I suggest the C-clamp if you have one available.

a "C" clamp, extra large pair of channel-lock pliers, or a caliper "piston compression tool."

i just bled the brake until i cold pry the caliper open and then installed it and bled the air out...
