I've got a 98 GST with groundcontrol coilovers and koni. I droped it about 2" and the rear wheels were out of alignment bad. I took it to get an alignment and they tell me it can't be done without taking the front spoiler off. anyone else have this problem? do I just need to take it some where else?

I think what they are telling you is that they can't get it on the rack with the car that low. I only have it dropped 1.5 or so and it just barely squeaks on.

The AWD only have toe adjusters stock. You can't adjust the camber or the caster. You need aftermarket parts to do that and most alignment shops won't touch after market alignment crap due to liability.

The only way to adjust camber AT ALL front or back is to buy the aftermarket camber adjusters or in the case of the rears, do the longer bolt-washer trick. There are several style of camber adjustments from offset keywayed ball joints to eccentric upper arm bushings to tubular lower control arms. It really varies depending on how much +/- camber you need and where you want it to be adjustable.

get a bunch of washers (in my case i needed 4-per bolt) and longer bolts and while it may take a while or you may get it right the first time put them in place of the stock bolts and when you get your wheels like |----| instead of /----\ take it to an alignment shop and have them do your alignment.

my car is about 1.2" dropped and i only needed to do the rear tires - with a 2" drop i don't know but you might need to do the fronts too...

hope that points you in the right direction
