On the weekend of January 5th - 6th, No Problem Raceway in Belle Rose Lousiana
(near Baton Rouge) will be holding Round #4 of the Grand Bayou Race Series
(Sunday) and a
BryanRacing.org lapping day
(Saturday). All sorts of cars ranging from stock cars to fully prepared race cars will be on hand.
The lapping day event is on Saturday January 5th. The cost of this event is $120
(if paid before 12/30/2007) or $140 day of event. These events are much like HPDE
(High Performance Drivers Education). Their are ceritfied instructors on hand to assist and ride with you. No need to worry if you have never been on a road course circuit before, they have several groups of drivers ranging from novice all the way to licensed drivers. Gates open at 7:00 am and goes through 4:00 pm. You will be getting more than enough track time for your dollar.
The Grand Bayou Race Series will be held on Sunday January 6th. This event is only opened to licensed drivers with fully prepared race cars. The event is wheel to wheel racing action in 10 different classes. There is everything from Open Wheel Cars, Vintage V8 Muscle Cars to 150 mph Super Production & 4 brackets of Touring Cars.
