DSM Shops?

Hey I'm from Metairie, LA (suburb of New Orleans) and my 95 tsi needs a new engine. I was considering swapping a 6-bolt. I'm having a lot of trouble finding a shop who knows dsm's . Anyone know of the closest performance shop/DSM shop capable of swapping a 6-bolt motor in my 95 tsi?

Heh yea I guess I meant a shop familiar with DSM's, but anyway thanks I'll try looking those up.

I'm not super familar with 2gs but iknow quite a bit about 1gs.I make decent side money buying,building and selling 1gs.I would be more than happy to help with a swap or building a motor.I have a good size junkyard out back with plenty of parts and cores.pm me if interested.ligo12 on the yahoo messenger.

i see your not from my state. but there is a good shop here in texas that specializes in DSM's..

thats all he works on is DSM's.. does some great work too.

no sorry we don't have a "DSM shop" but i think hybirdracing could do the job. if not in baton rouge you could try l&s auto on airline hwy. i am sure they can do the job.

Also try Airline Auto Center in BR. There just aren't any "DSM shops" in this state.

yeah i had trouble finding a capable dsm shop when my 7-bolt got sent to the "BARN". I ended up doing my own work and swaped the 6 bolt fallowing the info on the road race website. thats something you could try unless you feel iggy then i suggest you try some of the shops listed above.
