WTFOK lets start with a little back ground I picked up a 95 tsi last year that was desperately in need of a remodel car ran and drove. So I started the remodel put all new suspension bushing front and rear, new drive line bushings front to rear, died all interior black put a new 99 eclipse front bumper and headlight on repainted the body. The only issue I have now is it will run for a couple days then it will just die and not start. no fuel injector pulse, no spark. so I checked the mfi its good tried the power transistor, even bought a spare, its good, checked the cas its good, checked the cps, its good, pulled the ecu its good. then I plugged the ecu back in and laid it in the drivers floor and just out of curiosity tried to start it and it starts. why, what am I missing could I have current running into my ecu where it mounts, anyone have a clue or have been in this situation. also the car has a safc2:banghead:

No Cells
Car did have Previous alarm, that I removed, but car did start prior to removal.

The alarm has been completely removed, I've tried several of the no start issue post, but it seems everything that they say to test comes back fine. But if I remove and inspect the ecu, reassemble ecu, and plug it back in it starts for some reason. I don't understand why. This has happened Twice I have yet to venture more than 1 block away from my house with it just in case it quits again. When its no starting. it gets no spark and no injector pulse, but the cas and cps both have good ground continuity, 12+ volts, and around 5 volts on signal wire. I have two power transistors that both work when car does run, and both tested good. Pin 13 and 26 on my ecu are good, coil tested good mfi relay clicks on main power with key on and fuel pump while starting. Is there something I might be overlooking?
