My headlights in my Galant stink in the rain. The headlights on the wifes 2gb stink in the rain. I've replaced them both with silverstar ultras and they still stink. The housings aren't dirty either. It rains a lot where I live now and I typically see at least one deer every morning on the way to work. Needless to say, I need some better headlights.

I'm looking at these lights right now. [ame="http://www.amazon.com/HELLA-HLA-H83170031-9006-Halogen-Bulb/dp/B000COBLPC"]80W Bulbs[/ame]

I would grab a 12V 40 amp relay, a fuse, and run power straight from the battery to avoid issues with the stock wiring and fuses.

80W @ 12V is about 7 amps each so a 20 A fuse with some #12 wire should do the trick.

Would these lights cause any issues if I ran them in the stock housing? Will they provide more usable light output?
