I searched, but didn't find anyone experiencing my exact problem. My dash lights came on and my car lost power for an instant a few times while I was on my way home today. I happened to be logging my trip home, and once I got there I checked out the log and noticed every time my sub woofer hits, the voltage drops then spikes.

I understand it dropping, but then it would spike to like 16 volts. When it stalled for an instant, it had dropped then spiked to 18 volts! Nothing was damaged as far as I could tell. It ran fine and I didn't notice any other issues after I turned down my radio. This is the factory Mitsu 90A Vr-4 alternator. You can see it in the log, it happened a lot on my way home.
