pacestter short shifter

I've been wondering the same thing for the best 3 years! Good question, It seems to cheap to be true and Ive never once heard about one.

There are probably better out there, but I have one, and it works for me.

On a side note, it will not bolt into a 1990. I had to modify mine somewhat. 1991-1994 are ok, and the 2nd gen fits also.

I read an article about the pacesetter short shifter on SCC. It was an old issue when they had a 2G project car and as far as I can remember they were not satisfied with the product. It said that it indeed shortened the shifter throws but added more effort making shifting more difficult than before. (SCC 1998 November issue)
By the way, I've seen an arospeed short shifter around(it's cheap like the pacesetter) anybody using it or knows if it is any good???

I was sporting the pacesetter now for 2 months and the bushing's in it are so lose now the construction from the get go was poor and it so SOOOO sloppy now. I have switched back to stock currently and are awaiting my b+m in the mail. Save the money..get b+m

what would jappen if you took the stock bushings out of the car. see i dont have any in my car, and the car shifts like a dream but its still too far. i like the pacestter because its really short and i have used once and it shifted good in another car. i ike the b+m but i dont think its worth the money, to me actual length is not short enough
