i just put my new motor in, and everything is in the car. Well i just put the axles in and gave the hub a spin while the tranny was in nuetral. Then i put it into gear and it still spun. Why is that?? If its in gear shouldnt it not spin??

hmmm...... I Just got Finished puting a TRanny in my car.Although, im not to sure, If you put the Axles in,put the tranny in 1st. It should Still spin, While its in the air. there is no load on the Axles. Did the hubs spin opposit Directions of them self??? Im Pritty positive thats normal. But If the clutch is engaging I would Assume It to be a REAL REAL pain in the ass to spin.

yea its a little hard to spin, and the motor isnt spining with it, it is an AWD and when i spin the hun, the driveshaft doesnt move. Confusing

how Many times can you spin it??? If you can spin it alot. and the Drive Shaft wont move. there something else goin on.

figured it out, when in the air, it will spin no matter what because one spins one way the other spins the other way. when on the ground its a different story. everything is fine, thanks for the replies though
