when I did my auto to manual conversion I used a 92 talon tranny and flywheel on my 90 eclipse. The problem is that there is no dowl pin location on my flywheel but there is one on the back of my crankshaft where the flywheel bolts up. He said this is the reason why 5 out of 6 flywheel bolts broke off in my crankshaft. Whats the deal? The talon 4g63 did not have a dowl location. I need some input guys, any info would be appreciated. thanks.

, well I dropped the tranny and found out the flywheel was only held in by 1 bolt out of 6. I thought the other 5 had backed out but after I got my new bolts in and went to start on putting her back together thats when I found out that they had broken off in my crankshaft. Needless to say I was pissed. My expert buddy that works for a tranny shop drilled them out for me and thats when he checked on my installation when he noticed there was no location dowel on my flywheel but there was one on my crank. He said the torque from the motor killed my bolts and so I purchased a flywheel for a 90' talon ( instead of eclipse because our local dealership can't function with out VIN #s)
So I went to a plymouth dealer for no hassle or stupid wanna be mechanics with no imagination on modifications. I should be getting my new flywheel in on friday and by night time she should be done........I hope
