About 2 1/2 years ago I replaced my clutch (which was slipping) and started to get a vibration from the motor after that. I though it might be a faulty clutch, so I replaced it with a Ceterforce DF. Since then I have had the tranny rebuilt, new flywheel, all new motor mounts, and put a J-Spec motor. The vibration is still there......Anyone have any suggestions.

When you increase the clamping pressure between the flywheel and pessure plate you are going to get more vibration from the engine. Try a lighter flywheel, then you will REALLY feel the vibes:p

It could also be the flywheel isn't balanced well. I havent felt too much vibration just from a clutch upgrade.

I've had a similar vibration with my new Act 2600 and Fidanza combo and went round and round with both companies. The most logical response I got was that aftermarket clutches are notorious for being out of balance and should always be balanced with the flywheel.

It figures that I find this out AFTER I did the install.

The vibration happens with the clutch in and out......with the car sitting in neutral if you feel the gear shift knob you can feel a slight vibration, but cruising at selected RPM's you can really feel the vibration. My brother has the exact clutch as my car and his car is perfectly smooth.....I forgot to mention the I first tried a new stock clutch before the centerforce, and the car was still vibrating.

Sounds like your vibration is engine related not clutch or drivetrain. Did you check your balance shaft belt? Mine broke and wadded itself up around the balance shaft which created a terrible vibration but, by not taking out the timing belt with it, allowed me to drive it home . I got lucky.

Since I've had the car I've replaced every motor mount......the one I replaced first was the big one on the timing belt side...I suspected that it went bad again causing the vibration, but after visual inspection it looked ok.....could it still be bad if there are no cracks in the rubber piece of the motor mount????

Hey GP, did you ever figure out what the cause was for the vibration?

Yes I was also wondering if you solved this problem. I have a VERY similar problem going on right now!

Do you think the vibration is from the clutch not totally disengaging? I have the same vibration problem.
