Well I've been modding my car and now my clutch is starting to slip pretty bad, I am almost positive that the clutch is just worn out but some old geezer ;) are trying to tell me that it is probably because I switched to Mobil 1 after 100k miles.

I've heard this can be a problem with wet clutch cars but that DSMs are dry clutch and do not have this problem....

You can tell that old geezer that this old geezer said he was as full of shit as a Christmas goose.

Oh, and synthetics seem to work fine in motorcycles, with their soggy as goose-stuffing clutches.

More like you just hot-rodded it to death.

Well the synthetic oil (which can "find" leaks) could be leaking through the rear main seal on the crankshaft and running all over your clutch.
Pretty low chance that its because of the oil change tho.
