Well I just finished a n/t to turbo swap on my 91 talon, its seems to be running ok but my one big problem is that my tranny is acting like my slave cylinder is busted BUT...the slave is fine.....its hard getting into every gear and grinds sometimes...even if my foot is on the clutch pedal to the floor it stills moves if im not on the brake:confused:

i bled my lines and adjusted my clutch pedal...any suggestions would be helpful

What tranny are you using? The one from the NT or a turbo one? Clutch? Etc? Need more info, but it sounds like an improperly adjusted clutch.

im using the clutch, flywheel, preesure plate, and tranny from the turbo one. THe clutch, flywheel and plate are all new(they were just put in before i got the donor car)

1. check for leaks in your hardline from your master to slave

2. check your slave and master make sure everything is moving okay and theres nothing funny about it

3. Did you properly grease throwout bearing?

4. Adjust clutch pedal to bite earlier

And if that does't help then pull the tranny out and put two lockwashers behind the shift fork pivot ball so that it is taller. This will greatly improve disengagement.

is the tranny securely bolted to the engine? when i replaced my clutch i thought i tightened everything tight and i had the same syptoms you are talking about, when i looked carefully, the tranny wasn't bolted flush with the engine, it was hung on an alignment pin and i had crancked that mother down so it felt tight, i fixed it and the clutch and shifting are fine, try that if everything else fails, ya never know...

i think this guy is using the n/t one. that wont hold up to the abuse. hehehe, neither does the turbo's tranny either, for that matter.

actually the nt tranny hols up to the abuse just fine. i put 13 passes on mine at this year's dsm shootout. then drove it home.

another thing to check is the shifter cables. any haynes manual should have an adjustment sequence you can follow to get everything working in tip top shape.
