drive axle removal?

I have 96 Talon TSI that crankwalked and swapping the motor. The only thing I have left is the axels through the tranny and the motor mounts. I do not know how to get the axles out? If I could get any help with removal and some pictures to that would be greatly appreciated?

this is going to sound like a complete a hole answer but oh well
pull them out if there sticking pry them off with a screw driver. be careful not to rip the cv boots.

edit: thats assuming you have already taken off the axel nut and separated the cv assembly from the rotor

it took a BFH to remove mine. i trashed the ends on the axels ( i didnt care i had new ones )

I broke 2 ratchets trying to get mine off before i decided to give up... i just took apart the A-Frame and took the whole assembly out. DON'T PULL... I don't care who said to pull it.... that is the worst idea EVER just get in there and pry it with a small pry bar it will just pop out ... then you can pull it out...
