clutch problem

Do the 1st gen's have any history of having problems with the clutch or the sensors in the clutch causing the car not to start?

Are you talking about the little swith on the floor behind the clutch pedal that lets your car start only when the clutch is in? If it is, I haven't heard of anyone having this problem on any car.

I don't really know what is wrong with it. It feels as if the clutch won't engage far enough to start the engine. I didn't know if this is a common thing or not for these cars.
