Act2600 & Xact Fly Help!!!

I have an act 2600 clutch kit and an act xact flywheel on the way. I am planning to do the install this weekend. What I wanted to know is if I need to get the new flywheel machined for the right step or if it's fine out of the box and I can just install them when they get here!? Any help would be great! Thanks.

I would have to say that it would be okay right out of the box.

I asked Darren King of FFWD Connection this same question. He said they are a perfect mate and wont need any machining done to the flywheel.

Hey thanks alot guys. I was just wondering because in my auto technology class we often find that brand new brake rotors often have a runout that isn't within spec therefore need to be resurfaced before putting them on the vehicle! They are two completely different parts but since it happens with one I thought it might with the flywheel. Anyway thanks guys!

By the way 98TsiAWD do you like your turbo setup? I was recommended the exact same thing from agp. I was going to go with .63 but they recommended what you have .48. DO you like it? Or would you recommend different?
