I have an act 2600 clutch kit and an act xact flywheel on the way. I am planning to do the install this weekend. What I wanted to know is if I need to get the new flywheel machined for the right step or if it's fine out of the box and I can just install them when they get here!? Any help would be great! Thanks. :dsm:

Hey thanks alot guys. I was just wondering because in my auto technology class we often find that brand new brake rotors often have a runout that isn't within spec therefore need to be resurfaced before putting them on the vehicle! They are two completely different parts but since it happens with one I thought it might with the flywheel. Anyway thanks guys! :thumb: :dsm:

By the way 98TsiAWD do you like your turbo setup? I was recommended the exact same thing from agp. I was going to go with .63 but they recommended what you have .48. DO you like it? Or would you recommend different?

We sell this combo everyday to many customers and they never needed to have it machined.

Good luck, the combo is great!
