98 gsx, optional center diff?

I was looking at a few different gsx's and I noticed that on the sticker(when people would post pics of their original sticker), that there was an option box for a different center(maybe rear, i forgot) diff. is there a way to tell if a car has it, and if it's even worth pursuing?

Rear. You had the option of an open rear differential or a viscous coupling Limited-slip differential. I thought that was standard on Eclipses but I dunno... I know it was an option on Talons at least in 95.

Yes, it is the Limited Slip. It was an option for the GSX

On a GSX, you either have Rear LSD, or ABS.

Mine has both Limited Slip and ABS. I believe ABS came standard as leather seats on the GSX, but limited slip was an option.

'92's and later had a upgraded ABS that would work with the rear LSD. So you can have both options starting with '92 models.

Is abs a good or bad thing to have ?

all depends on the driver....i dont like abs..others do..depends on ur driving style..

ABS is worthless on dry roads but a good thing to have in wet driving conditions. It has saved my butt a few times when i had exceeded the car's cornering/stopping ability.
