so what happens when you have traction on a front wheel drive car with stock suspension?

if you have a decent driver, you run 13.79 @ 104.3
if you let an unexperienced friend drive, however, you're going to wheelhop for a hundred feet or so.
then, you have to drive 40 miles back to your house with a broken transmission, and drop your transmission.

she lives!

except the clutch feels soft, even after i bled all the air out. it slips under hard acceleration. then again, the 2100 is supposedly only good to 300 ft lbs, correct? maybe i've already surpassed its grip capacity.

At least he helped you out in with it.... I think that the lesson we learned here is that friends don't let friends drive their car.... I had a $1900 bill after I let my friend drive my '97 Tsi fwd... he decided to powershift into 2nd gear... missed it... then held it there til it popped in... In the process he grinded off some teeth on 2nd... and it ALL went down hill from there... NO ONE drives my car but me!:thumb:
