My clutch is starting to slip, and I want to upgrade to a act 2100. The only problem is I am low on money, and can't do it myself, so I have to pay, and I also want to put in a bm tranny lsd at the same time. So this could be become very expensive. Is there any problem with buying a used 2100 with say 1000-2000 miles on it? Should I get a new disc and throw out bearing, or just use the used everything? The pressure plate is the main thing I want...is this a bad idea? Thank you for your time

The only problem I see is that a used clutch won't last as long, so you will have to pay to have it replaced again soon. Which cost more, a new clutch that lasts longer or a used clutch that gets replaced sooner? Otherwise a used clutch with that many miles on it should be OK. I've reused clutches, as long as the pressure plate isn't warped, gouged, or has any grooves it can be used again.

ok thank you. I think I'm going to get a slightly used pressure plate, or even one that someone bought and never installed, and just get a new disc. Thank you for the reply.
